What are progressive lenses?
Progressives combine distance, intermediate, and near powers in one lens with a smooth gradient—no visible line like bifocals. You get clear distance vision, screen/desk comfort, and easy near focus in a single pair when the frame height and your fit are right.
How to choose progressive lenses
- Frame shape & height: Prefer frames with enough lens height (≥ 28–30 mm) so all three zones fit comfortably.
Tip: Before selecting a rectangular frame, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll confirm the model’s progressive suitability (lens height, bridge fit, and typical use). Chat now - Corridor style: Short corridors fit smaller frames but may feel “steeper.” Standard corridors feel more natural if your frame height allows.
- Add power: Use the add (+) from your Rx; higher adds need a bit more adaptation.
- Coatings: Anti-glare (AR) for night driving and screens; consider photochromic or prescription sunglasses for outdoor comfort.
- PD & fit: PD (pupillary distance) is helpful but don’t worry if you don’t have it! We’ll help you measure it in minutes. The right frame size is mandatory: check your current frame’s inside temple for numbers like
52–18–140(lens width – bridge – temple length). If you’re unsure, send us a photo of those numbers and your face width—our team will suggest an ideal fit on WhatsApp. Chat on WhatsApp

Frames that work well
FAQs
Do progressives need special frames? Not special—just with enough lens height and a stable fit. Many modern shapes work well when fitted right.
How long to adapt? Most people feel natural within a few days. Sometimes it takes a few more days up to 3–5 days depending on your power details.
